Savannah Leadership Foundation works to remove barriers and unleash the potential of the city’s neighborhoods. It invests in the next generation of leaders through its Young Eagles Mentorship Program, partners with local community organizations to tackle pressing problems, and looks to leverage churches and other faith-based organizations to serve the incarcerated population. Through a series of activities in Savannah-area schools, SLF engages youth ages 10-18 years old. They share. We listen. They ask questions about life, and we provide them with the best answers and solutions. They are tomorrow's leaders who need our help growing up today.
Working in isolation won't lead to transformed communities. SLF rallies leaders to dream and collaborate. We provide tools to help their leadership networks bloom and multiply across Savannah.
Dreams don't have to die within prison walls. The previously incarcerated have contributions communities need. SLF collaborates with churches and other faith-based organizations to help former offenders reenter their communities in a healthy and spiritually productive way.
