Savannah Leadership Foundation (SLF) has a passion to connect the greatest needs in our city with the resources necessary to see people and communities thrive. Every city has resources in churches, government, business, education, neighborhoods and individuals. No matter whether they’re public or private, we can do more together than we can apart. That’s what “weavers” do, we take all the strands in a city including the communities of great need and weave them together creating platforms where our city is transformed.
A THREE STEP APPROACH
TO CITY-WIDE CHANGE
ENGAGING LEADERS OF GOOD FAITH & GOOD WILL
BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF OTHERS
DEVELOP JOINT INITIATIVES
Through a series of activities in Savannah-area schools, SLF engages youth ages 10-18 years old. They share. We listen. They ask questions about life, and we provide them with the best answers and solutions. They are tomorrow's leaders who need our help growing up today.
Working in isolation won't lead to transformed communities. SLF rallies leaders to dream and collaborate. We provide tools to help their leadership networks bloom and multiply across Savannah.
Dreams don't have to die within prison walls. The previously incarcerated have contributions communities need. SLF collaborates with churches and other faith-based organizations to help former offenders reenter their communities in a healthy and spiritually productive way.
